Just finished this game. Overall I thought it was nice for a Telltale game. It had great vibes and while characters were shallow as a puddle, they were all likeable and interesting. Your decisions don't really matter aside from the Invisigal-related ending and I guess the Coupe/Sonar thing, but whatever that's to be expected. Dispatch mini-game is fun, but the fact that it really doesn't matter at all, nor do the QTEs, is more of a negative since I felt it was used to pad the episode lengths when we really could have used at least one more STORY episode to fix some plot holes. Episode 7-8 really didn't land it as far as I'm concerned. The fact that they would so readily cut one of their own team members for not even intentionally screwing anyone over, and trying to help, is kind of messed up. The cherry on top is that, again based on what we're SHOWN, it would definitely feel a lot better that the team would instead be understanding of Robert's speech when you tell them you'd keep Invisigal. There's just no way that they have such an INSANE connection towards Chase that the wouldn't think Robert's right there about no longer immediately cutting someone, even if previously they did it for less. But again, forced dilemma to make you have to choose one or the other.If them being so upset was also about one of them being cut in the first place, and not just Chase, that's yet again a writing problem and in fact quite a lost opportunity. They could've built a whole lot more on the idea of Robert regretting the cut, possibly trying to reconnect with whoever you cut having one or two moments of them talking it out and Robert trying to reach out to them and slowly chipping out at the wall they'd put up eventually getting them back at the last fight. But besides the character's partner being a bit more upset we don't see anything about the team taking the cut hard.

The little facial animations, the pacing, cueing the set pieces with the music perfectly and knowing when to let silence do the job instead. It can be serious and then queue the audience when it it's not trying to be. The jokes are funny enough but absolutely elevated by perfect timing. Character development is some of the best I've seen in a game and a miracle in a game this short. Just all around attention to detail.It's not perfect by any stretch, but my favorite game this year by a mile.
