It always bothers me when people act like every single PC game that has yet to be released will have the modding support of a Bethesda game. Most games barely get anything. I'm still waiting for my Disgaea 7 mods. "Mods will fix ____" may as well be them saying, "This game's gonna suck, but buy it at full price anyway and maybe it'll be better by the time you can buy it half price anyway."
