Why do gamers seethe when a Visual Novel has entirely OPTIONAL netorare which can easily be avoided with the right dialogue choices, and even comes with a warning, but they act like it’s being forced on them anyway?

Because 90% of the time "optional" ntr means skipping 90% of the game's content when you skip it and the game still plays as if it happened because the dev can't be assed to rewrite the entire game around not doing it.
