>>726077423Where's her penis?
>>726083131What is wrong with your kind?
>>726077287I wonder if they'll downplay the mama aspects given they gave so much of her backstory to Peach
>>726083921Doesn't look like it from the clip of her telling stories to the Lumas.>given they gave so much of her backstory to PeachWhat? Rosalina's mother died and she made a spaceship to return a Luma to its home and became the god of the Mushroom Universe. Peach's backstory in the movie is she wandered through a warp pipe and the Toads made her their ruler.
>>726078546holy fuck why are english speaking voice actors so horrible
So far Brie sounds much better as Rosalina than Anya for Peach. They're still doubling down on showing the female characters being cool and the male ones being comedic relief though. I also think it'd have been better to not show Rosalina engaging in combat in the trailer. End it at her taking out her wand, would've made it much more mysterious and hyped. Also using a desert world as one of the first posters for a movie called "Galaxy" is certainly a choice.
>>726084312In both Game Rosalina and Movie Peach's backstory, they left a home they no longer remember to permanently join a new race of creatures that make them their leader. In both cases they are mother figures, fiercely protective of their naive charges, and view other humans with a detached curiosityIt's undeniably a repeated beat if they go with it unaltered
>>726084656Rosalina very much remembers her home, that's why she flies over the planet every 100 years to visit it.
I find it a bit cringe that Rosalina's story to the Lumas describe Peach as brave and noble. American studios are always trying so hard to be woke. It's even more surprising to me that Miyamoto lets them change Peach's character like this but I guess modern Nintendo is all about "mass appeal" and the bottom line at this point.
>>726085561This, Peach should be described only as brainless and onahole, how all females should be.
>>726085861They can simply say that she is kind and brave. Not sure why it has to start with brave and then they use a more ambiguous word like noble. Almost like to avoid any feminine connotation. When you look at Peach as a character, your first word choices wouldn't be brave and noble. They're trying too hard atp.
>>726086369Women can't be noble?
>>726087974It's not about being a woman, it's about using words that don't pop up in your mind immediately when you look at the character of Peach.
>>726088113She's of nobility because she's a princess. Of course we don't think that, we look at her and think fuckmeat and bitch for not putting out for Mario.
>>726088197I can think of a few different words to describe her, like I mentioned above. Also in traditional stories, they usually describe princesses as beautiful. Obviously American studios don't want to talk about her looks at all because it's sexist or some shit.If noble is just referring to her being a princess it's redundant. If you wanna talk about her actions being noble like agreeing to marry Bowser in the first movie to save her kingdom, "brave" is already sufficient. Pretty much they just wanna avoid making Peach display her girly and cute traits in the movies, looking at her scenes featured in this first trailer.
>>726083543They were purposely trained wrong, as a joke
>>726088784You sound very autistic and in need of complaining about anything.
>>726077287Uhh.. is this how she's supposed to look? She doesn't have cow titties like in my porn...
They gave Rosalina a big dumper, I repeat, she's heavy under the dress
>>726089092No I find it more interesting for Peach to remain cutesy and feminine while also being OP and able to fly past platforming challenges. It's kind of like a gap moe. Being a tomboy is supposed to be Daisy's trait. It'd be funny if the movie actually homogenizes Peach and Rosalina as characters in their efforts to make them more outwardly "badass". It's more sexist for them to think female characters can only be portrayed in 1 exact way.
>>726077287I hate Rosalina
>>726085561The Lumas, at least in the trailer, actually prefer Mario over Peach as the hero. I don't know if they are being cheeky with it or don't have any self-awareness at it mirrorring the public's opinion.
>>726079974Fuck it I'd play it, I like that triple star thing she did in the trailer, would be fun in an action game
>>726089557Yes that also caught my attention. But lbr here there's a higher chance it's a lack of awareness, knowing modern Western writers. Also Brie sounds fine in the first line but the second line sounds a bit too American imo but not awful I guess. She's doing better than Anya at least. Funny how that ended up being the worst casting decision in the original movie.Seeing how Nintendo is only now incorporating MCU quips into fucking Metroid of all things, they're always late to the bandwagon.
>>726089849>but the second line sounds a bit too AmericanWhich nationality should she sound like?
>>726090226She should sound more ambiguous and regal imo. The American accent is casual and friendly, which doesn't suit her I feel.
