I am having a difficult time finding a pc case. I need a mid-tower, with a mesh front, with usb-c front panels (not top), and NO RGB shit. The ASUS TUF GT302 has all of this except that it contains RGB shit. What is the closest thing to this case without RGB garbage?
>>726078472anon unplugging the rgb is trivial
>>726078740If so, then tell me how immediately. I have looked it up and found nothing.
>>726078472When in doubt >> Fractal design
>>726078472>I need a mid-tower, with a mesh front, with usb-c front panels (not top), and NO RGB shit.that's every caseif you dont want rgb then throw away the stock fans and replace them
>>726078896Maybe I should specify that I want the usb panel on the top side of the front panel. I don't want it on the top panel. I don't want it on the bottom side of the front panel. Most everything I see does not do that.
>>726078832>>726079143RGB lights aren't powered by magic. Just don't plug them into your motherboard. Also, why do you want the usb panel to be there specifically?
>>726078871It doesn't look like a single one has the usb panels where I want them.
>>726079143anon-sama you must listenif you like the asus case then buy it and simply don't use the rgb fans that come with it and replace them with non rgb.
>>726079439I want the fucking fans to work. If the RGB turns on whenever the fans are plugged in to operate at all, it will pose a problem.
>>726079563Then replace the fans, fucknugget.
isn't the RGB a BIOS setting that can be turned off?
>>726079647I don't want to go to the effort of doing that. It shouldn't be that hard to get a pc case like the OP pic but without the RGB shit. I am not giving into these random time sinks.
Just go to GaymersNexus and look at the case reviews.Stuff like Phanteks G400A, Corsair Frame 4000D, Cooler Master Master Frame 500 Mesh and Fractal cases like the Meshify 3, Torrent and North. There are more as well.
maybe that retard Verge video with the guy who fucked up building a PC wasn't too far off, if this is the average pc player. maybe wait until your balls drop before you try to build something with expensive electronics
>>726079752come now. you're already going to open the case to install your components anyway and with an empty case fan replacement is an extra 5 minutes tops, less so if all the mounts are toolless.
>>726078472You have no business building a PC if you can't or won't turn off RGB in an otherwise-perfect case.
>>726079563in most cases rgb fans require a separate front panel connection for lighting to activate, if you just have the fanpower plugged in it will be a regular dark fan.
>>726079563Should be a splitter board where all the case fans like that connect together usually theres something for the RGB
Lancool3 looks good but might be too heavy for some. The panel doors opening makes it easy to do regular air dust.
>>726079563Alright, quick electronics class.A fan is powered by 12V. Lights are usually powered by 5V. You can't power either with the same Voltage. You have 3-pin connectors and 4-pin connectors.Power takes up one pin. Ground takes up one pin. Sensing the current RPM of a fan takes up a pin. Controlling the fan speed via PWM takes up a pin. Telling which color a LED should use takes up a pin.RGB lights of a fan and the actual fan are two separate cables. They take up different voltages and make different uses of their available pins.
Corsair FRAME 4000D RSIt's the non-rgb version. Better built than some of their other models.
>>726079981This, also I'd be surprised if a modern Asus case didn't just have a button to turn off the lights. The fractal case I bought a few months ago has one and an old Thermaltake case I had before had one and that shit is a decade old.
>>726079647giving him bad advice. every modern rgb fan has a separate optional cable for lighting you can choose not to plug in.
>>726080394op doesn't care, he just likes to complain
>>726080032>>726080394Thank you, that helps immensely. That is exactly what I needed to know. I appreciate it for sure.
Buy used, boss.
>>726080769Yeah, the good shit is often older, but the flip side is that it is also often in demand too. I have a Corsair Vengeance C70 right now, but I am giving this PC as a hand me down, and I don't want to cannibalize it. It goes for over $200 on ebay, which shows that modern pc case makers aren't filling a quite apparent demand. That is why I am asking for advice here. PC Cases are often made for fags now, and I wanted to find the best option.
>>726080650I care. They actually helped me, and you didn't. So just be quiet.
>>726081181I went down a similar rabbit hole to you and my advice would be to just swallow your pride, aim for a pc that's windowless, and functionally effective and just shrug off the rest. don't pay an exorbitant sum of money for a less practical case just because it was made before the zoomer version of the gamer aesthetic.

Got you covered lad
>>726078472Just get a board and some chicken wire
>>726078472>I am having a difficult time finding a pc caseThen gatekeep everything from being built in chinkland. Harass the fuck out of your local and federal politicians about it.
>>72608163>zoomer version of the gamer aesthetic Clear side panels and case/fan lights are older than you are, retard.
>>726081639I accidentally deleted a number in my post. I wasn't trying to autistically avoid a (You).
>>726079674Yes, and you don't even need to go into the BIOS in most cases. OP is being a stubborn faggot.
>>726078472You can turn off the fan leds or sell them to some zoomer, otherwise
didn't the RGBT lighting take off around 2016 when zoomgods were like 12 years old and too young to buy PC's, why do millennials blame everything they did on zoomers?
>>726082589you're reaching pretty hard to be pissed off
>>726081181What are the flaws of a C70 nowadays? I will buy it regardless of the price and flaws because I love military aesthetics. I just wanna know what I'm getting into. Also, does the nuclear launch button or whatever it is does anything? Do you think Putin has the same case but it launches an actual nuke if you press that button?
>>726086267>didn't the RGBT lighting take off around 2016Addressable lights, yes. Otherwise, lighted fans and case lighting in general has been around since the 00s, you were just stuck with basic colors.
>mid towerWhy not go full size ATX
>>726079563Yeah, you're too stupid to build a PC if you think the fans and the lights are connected lol.
Ive got a Phanteks XT Pro Ultra coming in the mail. I was considering the Phanteks XT Pro Silent because its an awesome black monolith brick, but the Pro Ultra has better airflow, and Ive got hot components.
>>726078472Cant you just push the button do turn lgbt lights off once and be done with it?Im sure i did that in my 500dx.
There's dozens of software to turn off all the shitty rainbow LGBT lights offbut they come back every time your computer crashes, LOL
>>726089592 The C70 is a tank, bro. Flaws-wise, it's got kinda janky airflow by today’s standards unless you mod it or brute force with high static pressure fans. Cable management is mid-lots of space but weird grommet placements. It's also heavy as balls and has a weird front panel that can be annoying to clean. As for the "launch button," it’s just a fancy cover for the power button. Sadly doesn’t connect to any ICBMs (unless you’re Vladimir Putin or running some Skyrim mod that redirects it through a Raspberry Pi smart fridge). You can probably wire it to something stupid though, like RGB override or a macro that shuts off Discord and opens Notepad for maximum tactical immersion.
>>726078472>and NO RGB shit.Edgy incels detected
>>726078472Just turn the rgb off nigga are you fucking stupid? Did your mom drop you as a kid? Literally every case with light shit has a button or controller for that crap.
>>726078472get be quiet! or phantek
>>726098998this. just go into bios and disable tranny lighting
>>726078472I'm gonna need a new case too because video cards are getting way too fucking huge.
