But they only share a visual resemblance and they are both important to their game's respective plots. They don't work in the same way and they have different significance. Here I mostly mean that the fountains in the former look similar to what happens when dragon pins are pulled out in the latter. And there's also something that kinda looks like rape but isn't actually. There's the naked fairy transvestite doing shit to Lucas in Mother 3, and there's Kris doing shit to Noelle in Deltarune. Not similar enough to justify calling it plagiarizing.
