I’ll give you one: Spec Ops: The Line.
Had the dramatic story and cinematic flair, sure, but most people completely slept on it ’cause the gameplay was just “mid” and it didn’t have enough marketing sheen. Only got its flowers way after launch when people actually started paying attention to what it was doing under the hood.
