Why do we only have a single video game franchise about lawyers? /tv/ gets to have hundreds and hundreds of shows about it.

Because Phoenix Wright set the bar fairly high for video game lawyer games and they are just not very easy to write compared to TV lawyers which skip all sorts of steps
