How are my fellow RTS frens doing? What games are you playing recently? For me, it's mostly been WARNO and Company of Heroes 2. WARNO is hit or miss if the matches are good depending on teammates and/or if PACT wishes to turn it into a tortuous slog of superior artillery/air power/tanks.Company of Heroes 2 I've been playing some theater of war coop missions with my friend, and theyre pretty fun but sometimes a little too easy.Awhile back, Starship Troopers: Terran Command came out with territory mode, but I stopped playing it when I started seeing repeat maps where all they did was change what side you started on and what time of day it was.

>>726084682shadow empire? i tried it out, but i just couldnt get into it. i would spend so much time trying to generate a cool world and then either get bored after trying for a long time, found earlygame way too slow, or would get assfucked by something early on.
>>726084826Hex of steelAlso can be found on Cs Rin if you dont wanna pay for it
>>726084826also >futurism=soulless
>>726085024>>726085087how much US content is there in it for the scenarios, is the US well-balanced, and how good is the AI? i only really care about playing the US
>>726085315Idk much about the balance of the game, but the U.S has some western scenarios against germany, and has a good amount of scenarios against Japan. Also theres an scenario editor so you can make your own if you are unhappyThe AI is surprisingly good IMO. Forces you to think properly sometimes. Also theres Multiplayer (albeit only by PBEM) so you can use that if you think the AI sucks anyways
>>726085450sounds good. i think i'll pirate it and might buy it if i like it. thank you.
>>726085681k have fun
>>726084682Looks like unrealslop

Waiting for D.O.R.F.It will unironically revive RTS.
TA-likes are the best RTS. At me.
>>726092725i dont like RTS games where i cant spam man with gun.
>>726092951Just pretend that inside the bots and tanks there are humans.
>>726094375it's not the same. if i dont see john smith and his buddies shooting at the enemies with rockets or rifles, then the game just doesnt interest me.
>>726094608Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance is pretty moddable; I think it's possible.
Will the 2020s give us a *NEW* good PVP multiplayer RTS? Based on the recent releases and the fact that the most popular games which are still fairly alive are older than most people on this page are making me rather pessimistic to say the least.
>>726097108valve will make one :)
Somebody argue why Forged Alliance Forever isn't the best RTS.Will a new RTS be able to compete?
>>726097108I want to make an MMO RTS. Start with a commander and build up an army and base. Visit respawning PvE scenarios and collect equipment and other items. (I would imagine it all noninstanced.)
>>726097108>PVP
>>726101273Yeah, beating braindead AI for the 50th time can get boring.
>>726081621I miss /wgg/
Did anything cool come out of DotA 2 getting custom games? I saw there was something turning the game back into an RTS.>>726086545I miss Bullfrog.
>>726101273People value social relevance as 1 of their 3 primary motivators.
>>726105571These are why I think RTS are one of the best genres, with the widest inherent appeal / highest objective quality. Everybody can learn something in an hour or two, and RTS gives the shakes like few to no others.
World in Conflict was the only RTS I played and enjoyed deeply. Because I love the setting of an alternate cold war going hot.
