Anybody notice that this game is streamed even when you buy the disc? I was in a license test and noticed that my times were drastically different on the same path. I know what lines I hit and what speed I'm going. I played all Gran Turismo's besides 6. I know how the fucking game works. I can seem myself being cheated. It's always just a random loss of traction added in for no reason. I 100% believe the game is manipulated by AI to simulate difficulty and extend playtimes. You can't save your progress offline at all, nor play the core game. I've noticed Japanese games seem to all be AI manipulated. Most of them I just disconnect from internet and 9 times out of 10 I instantly beat whatever stopped me. You can't do that in this game. You can time your sessions too and see after a certain amount of time passes the difficulty increases and the game starts reacting absurdly. You can do exactly the same thing 5 times and it works the sixth time, or 9/10, 19/20. It just doesn't make sense. I could beat any race on GT3 in professional mode and beat the others I played including the 24 hour races. I am not just some newfag to GT that doesn't understand it. This shit is manipulated 100%. Especially if you brake past a certain point it is like it activates a flag that locks your tires up and just causes you to slide even though doing the exact same thing 10 feet earlier is completely fine.
>>726084612> Anybody notice that this game is streamed even when you buy the disc?Reason for report>This user is technically illiterate.
>>726084612hope you get diagnosed soon
>>726084612I don't know I didn't buyed it, does it do that on GT Sport or My First Gran Turismo?
Have you turned off all assist settings?
>>726085018It's the entire game. You can only do exhibition offline.
>>726085137Yes and I toggle my traction control per vehicle per race.
>>726084987>>726084906Shut up faggots.
>>726085318ok but in the separate games GT Sport and My First Gran Turismo does it do what you are describing with the AI stuff or just in GT7?
>>726084612The game has a really detailed driving model (even if it isn't 100% realistic) so unless you're playing with a controller, you 100% did some microadjustment and that changed it.
>>726086316I'm not sure. I never noticed what I notice in this game in any other racing game. How can you even detect it? You would have to create something that could recreate an exact set of movements.
>>726086431Controller. You can just feel it.
Its an always online game and yes they advertised the things you mentioned as features for dynamic racing. Depending in your region there is literally a programmatic reset server side. In america its 9 am california time if I'm remembering correctly. Fuck all that I'm playing 4 in 8k. The differences in graphics are honestly frivolous and city tracks in 4 eat 7s fucking lunch.
>>726087220You gotta get a wheel bro. One of the best gaming purchases I've ever made.
>>726084612This might sound crazy, but I experienced the same during launch month. It turns out there was a """bug""" where wind speed and direction were randomized in license tests, which explained the large variance in times even though my lines were pretty spot on. But I thought this was already fixed long ago so I don't know if this is what you're experiencing too.
>>726087220Put assists slightly on. You can't make the exact same movements repeatedly with analog sticks.
>>726087448That just reinforces my belief
>>726087518I end up beating them, but it is just funny. I was hoping somebody would see what I see.
>>726087353Thought about it, but I played all of them on controller.
I'm bored of the GT games because they're the same thing over and over. the 'car encyclopaedia' thing was cool in 1999 because it was such a novel idea in an era where every other racing game only had maybe a dozen cars at max, but in 2025 where even GTA has over a thousand different cars they needed to evolve the game design.
They already said they have a end of life plan where the game doesn't require online anymore
>>726090180You're most likely thinking of Gran Turismo Sport which they did release an EOL offline mode but a lot of features were gutted, not counting multiplayer obviously.
>>726090824See they have a history of doing this already so why you worried
>>726091028It's a live service. The current game is not EOL until the next game which will be for PS6 meaning whatever the fuck Polyphony has planned for an offline patch is irrelevant for the next 3 years minimum.
>>726084612you said you turned off all assists, maybe you are running into the absolutely terrible no-ABS experience? I leave ABS at "weak" on in gt7 since their implementation of no-abs is dogshit.
