The moment we learn she has romantic interest in someone besides the protagonist, she's instantly dead to many of the otaku players. Kodaka broke a rule for this kind of game here, but that's fine because he always does that. I think that's why I don't usually see anybody pissed over Maki. But the lack of interest remains as a result of the decision.

>>726091816 Based. The second they started shoehorning "Despair Arc" nonsense and making everyone ridiculously edgy for no reason, I jumped ship. Naegi becoming bootlicking Hope Jesus in Future Arc was the final straw. V3 may be messy, but at least it didn't retcon personalities just to fuel a bad fanservice plot.
