>>726104102The problem with the game right now is, combat gives you a few options and most of them are simply wrong.Every weapon has a light and heavy combo, and some have charged attacks, as well as 2 abilities. So you'd think you've got a bunch of different options to use. But that is wrong.Almost every weapon revolves around spamming one ability over and over. Everything else does little to no damage and isn't worth using.Bosses are even worse because to beat them you have to parry spam and then when you stagger the boss you use your one damage ability and then repeat.Honestly, combat in the game right now is fucking awful. It looks flashy but when you actually get into it, it's incredibly shallow and repetitive.
The hardest thing I ran into was the 2nd breakthrough with the constant fire and snakes you can't hit. I may be over leveling myself a bit.

You have 8 Mystic Arts at once, 4 Martial Arts, Charge Attacks for each weapon, Aerial Combos, Launchers, Weapon Change attacks, weapons that fight at different ranges, etc. Even the light and heavy basic attack of weapons have different properties from each other. And that's just the player's side, the enemies also have unique interactions with mystic arts and individual ones require specific approaches.I'm not experiencing any of the low damage or qi break problems that you're describing on Legend at all personally, it's been a balanced and challenging experience where I can dish out as much pain as they give me.

i say this not as a cope but in all honesty. the game looks way better in motion. what it lacks in fidelity it makes up for with all of its moving parts. the way the grass sways, etc. adds a lot to the game when youre exploring or looking out over a vista
