I busted out my Quest 2 to remember what it's like and here are my takeaways>LCD not as big a deal as I expected. It's not like looking at a bad IPS monitor. No it's not perfect but a way more reasonable compromise on an immersion machine than I expected >Quest 2 FOV is so bad. 90 degrees, and I have to use the glasses spacer which reduces a little more. Frame is 110 degrees. About a 22% increase. I think it won't be great still but it's an improvement.>Quest 2 resolution is 1832x1920. Definitely noticeable lens warp / lower fidelity away from "sweet spot" at center of lens. It's not awful but I can see the "screen door" pixel lines sometimes. I'm not so sure how much a bump the Frame's 2160x2160 will be. Supposedly the different lens type ("pancake" vs "fresnel") also improves things. >I don't think framerate is very important in some VR. I was getting ~70 fps in VRchat but I didn't perceive the refresh rate like I do looking at a monitor.>Weight and strap design is really important. This is the worst part of the Quest 2 and something the Frame engineers seem proud of. You won't use your VR long term if it's physically uncomfortable. >Glasses really sucks when trying to use VR.
