Is this game fortnite? I wanna run around as a big cock

Genuine response, its video game social media. Usually a video game rewards you with content or progress, social media rewards you with social interaction, Arc is the middle ground of both. The 'content' is the random nature of meeting a random other person, the 'reward' is whatever happens after that i.e. you team up, you murder each other, you back stab/get backstabbed, ect.

The game will die when the prisoner dilemma eventually hits critical mass and turns every single cooperative player into a KOS player. Because someone who KOS won't stop, and someone who doesn't KOS will start once they get killed too many times. Effectively the social part of the game becomes KOS slop.

>>726093337
i'd be embarrassed to post a webm like this
>>
>>726091868
>Start with nothing
>Shoot things
>Collect loot
>Make weapons
>Shoot more things
>Collect more loot
>Upgrade weapons
>Shoot things
>Collect loot
>Upgrade weapons
>Shoot things
>GET SHOT
>GET LOOTED
>Back to the start
Miss me with that gay shit.

Why do people insist this is an extraction shooter for forum dads and retards?
You can still get ratted out at the exfils.
You can still get ganked by organized squads.
You can still succumb to gearfear and not play for a week after losing your favorite stuff.
What the fuck is wrong with shills?
>>
>>726092320
He gets it from the arcs, they work for him wake up sheeple
>>
>>726097493
How would you know if you haven't played?

Boring game. I can't understand how my friends play this all day after work.
I only got it to spend time with them. Today's matches were fun but I don't really see the appeal.

People are saying you collet "loot", but in actuality you collect random garbage like some post-apocalyptic trashman. I have now been asked to play Tarkov and this and I just don't get the appeal, so much of the gameplay is fucking boring.
>>
>>726097493
I'm not playing tarkov, fuck off.

you uhhh... raid arcs.
>>
>>726091868
It's fun. It's chill. I have fun with people having a chill shesh that don't shoot on sight. It's an easy extraction shooter that tickles the loot bug part of your brain without being Autism of Tarkov levels of unemployed bait
>>
You grind for ugly looking unfun weapons and ugly looking poorly fitting and poorly designed outfits in an ugly mockery of what could've been a great aesthetic if not managed by retards. 90% of the characters in this game look and smell like rancid nig juice. The community is the same exact community in every single game like this with zero difference, even at launch.
The only reason it's even remotely relevant is because of people with zero standards chasing a genre that's exclusively garbage with low releases, something I think we can all empathize with because we all have our own. That and shilling.

Also
>nexon
That should've been enough for anyone not a newfag.

Anyway, we should go catch a show or something later guys. Get some beers and joints in the car going.
>>
>>726091868
>log in
>dig through four trashcans
>sneak past aggressively sexual spiders
>get shot and die
>>
>>726091868
As all popular things are, it's preying on your dopamine receptors.
You gamble if you will find the items you want, and then you gamble if you will die and lost them.
It makes you feel really good when you "win" these gambles and manage to return the base safely.
>>
Would it be better without PVP?
>>
>>726093254
I have rarely encountered KOS players
>>
Imagine succumbing to gear fear.
LMAO, it's just a game.
>>
>>726104876
That would be like removing invasions from Dark Souls.
>>
>>726100720
Literally everything is recyclable down to something with a use
>>
>>726105237
So in other words how most people played Elden Ring
>>
Nothing. You pick up batteries and cables and get shot somewhere or you shoot someone and pick up their batteries and cables.
>>
>>726105669
You are vastly overstating how few people used that mod and it was exclusively locked to PC and quite a time after release.
>>
>>726093254
yeah except after the first weeks almost everybody started shooting on sight so the player interactions reduced drastically, and the game lost its main appeal
>>
Honest reason why I'm playing this over Tarkov: I don't poop my pants out of fear. 3rd person with a world not as grim makes it so much more enjoyable for me.
>>
>>726100720
so it's fallout 4 then?
