I had a nightmare where I was looking through archived old forum posts for mods nobody paid attention to and found one with just a couple downloads and very short description in broken English, the download link still worked so I got the zip file and looked inside and there was an unnamed text file inside it which contained a bunch of names and dates at the end of which was MY name with the date I would download this a decade into the future after the last guy. The rest of the dream was spent trying to justify how this could be possible but I woke up before finding out anything and realised I left the window open and the room got cold and that's why I was having a bad dream (I always have nightmares when the room I'm sleeping in gets cold). But ngl my subconscious was kinda cooking with this, cool hook for a story.

I always have nightmares when I sleep on my back
There's this one nightmare I had where I was trying to bury a body with a stranger in some spooky foggy woods. For some reason I distinctly remember my car being used for it, and that I damaged it when doing this. The rest I don't remember other than the sense of dread of people finding out.To this day I still can't make sense of this nightmare or why I dreamt it.

You know, I don't really have nightmares anymore but when I did it wasn't even spooky monsters kind of nightmares but stuff like getting a virus on my PC and the cursor moving around on its own and stuff opening without me doing anything. Somehow that's much spookier to me than my mom dying horribly or whatever.
