desu, I don't remember much. I know that I enjoyed it greatly, I know that everything had weight and physicality to it. And I recall that some class combos were fucking broken.

They knew storm troopers and Vader from Star Wars were popular. I am sure they knew of Jin Roh. Either way, it was obvious that the menacing looking space guys with red glowing eyes would be perceived as cool. Guerilla just sucks creatively is the problem. Its a good company that can make great looking games but they needed serious help on things other than engine and making a game look good.

Where you kill every enemy introduced into an area, and after that face more, that are slightly harder. See how long you can hold out. That's pretty enjoyable. I did it solo except once with somene else. The ability to be revived by them makes it much easier. I got to around wave 50, somewhere above that. Maybe more. Seen a youtube video where a couple people together got to around 100. Pretty impressive.Could be good for a lightgun. Frames rendered ahead/prerendered frames setting you see on your driver. Should be 0. Set it at a high number to see any game become Killzone 2 in lag.Too doing things over multiple SPUs.But a video I remember said they only used 2, then the other 4 for action. So doing nothing, standing still, no action, seeing no-one, game only using 2 SPUs. Game showcased that may be a good idea. Create a reserve that is delpeted during heavy action, without too much of a drop in framerate. Or not feeling too different. Effects using up everything is a good system too. Great effects. Worth it. You don't notice the huge drop in framerate. You do notice the good effects. Explosions etc.Very good looking game. I complain about the change from grimdark grey to gaybright blue and green too much. But I do miss the Killzone 1 feel.Post processing lag too. But worth it. They also did deferred rendering (lighting) without a problem with antialiasing, so they said. I went through the presentations of how they did it many times. GDC conference I think. As well as other videos and sites. I like that they shared that instead of kept it secret. That kind of thing can raise the bar. See that the're an infiltrator.Sniper and boost (ability) (much faster sprint) was the preffered option once all the classes had been played enough to unlock all of them. You unlocked them in sequence. Had to see their strengths. Needed to to switch to what was missing or needed to win, or what the enemy's weakeness was. What they weren't prepared for. Wasn't a matter of one was the best against the other, was people adjusted to you, needed to do something different so your actions weren't intercepted. Didn't walk into your death, or lose the obnjective/match.Snipers were and ARE a majior danger, in game and out. Realistic is what people wanted, real danger, get used to that. Know where is and isn't logically dangerous. Experience more than thinking. Taht ingrained. Like a base you build much way from, a stage of effective combat anyway. Awareness what will end in death if you do that. So do something else etc. A dead end option completely cut off. Disregarded. Not a debate. Know.Snipers weren't the big problem in KZ2. That was base rape. The enemy team all at once surrounding your base and killing any trying to leave. You could be caught up in objectives, and they'd do that. or you'd do that so others could do objecticves etc.Invisibility also useful for doing objectives maybe. And carrying a spawn beacon away from base, and getting close to enemy base. Turrets detected invisibility. maybe air support did too. So a rush to put them up and maintain them near enemy base.Change you countered.

That locked in. Can't have that in another class, can't change it. Reason to use the class beside weapon. And a secondary ability that could be changed. For AT that "Boost" duckduckgo says it means for this: run longer. But I remember it as faster. Technically the same result. But longer run useful too, and I do remember that maybe, you can outrun people pursuing you when carrying a "flag" eg propaganda recording to a propaganda presenting post. Assault Trooper also had rockets. 3 I think. So highly effective, you could kill several shooting at an objective they were trying to take faster mroe of them there for one of the modes, 6 I think per match. All different. One a killcount. It wasn't about killing. If it wasn't the killcount mode you tried and dying was irrelevant, the objective was the important thing. That a real war feeling. And a highlight of just how cheap life is in war. Trying to do the objective, setting up the objective to be done. Like only that matters. Getting it done just before you died a majior victory. 1 of 6 you win. Maybe too the match over faster if you win more, maybe not. maybe still playing when your side will lose the match. Trying to win the mode. The match won token, maybe, like what was tallied was the amount of modes won. Learn to fight regardless if you will win or not. Can turn the tide enemy having just about won, slacking off, or outplayed. Back and forth until winning, sometimes neither doing so, draw, just about won and then deprived by time, a little trouble that's too much. Don't know if you will win or not until the end.
Assault Trooper could also shoot a rocket when surprised by someone, if far enough away surviving it and healing themselves to do it again. And take their weapon if running out and too much of a waste of time to resupply rockets from an ammo crate.Worst case scenario you cancel them out with yourself. Instead of get killed.

Assault Trooper could also survive if having the same weapon as someone else and firing at eachother at the same time as long as they weren't another Assault Trooper.And it took a lot of hits before you downed someone.Survive, heal yourself with medpacks. kEEP GOING.The abilities of other classes were usefull. Checking Scout (Sniper) they had a mark ability and someone said that was usefull.Marked enemies I guess appeared on your radar, or all the time when alive with some mark on them.Mark ability probably just pointing gin at them while in scope. Or that for a second. Other enemy snipers unable to sneak after incurring that. And many on the way to an objective marked preventing them doing some surprise attack, or you able to see what they are trying to do and like to try and do again. Or know what the enemy is doing and plan around it. Eg when base is exposed. What objectives will be easier to do. Where some are few so easier targets for closer people. Sometimes you could do a lot with something you got right, impressively a lot. Take on many yourself. Occupy half an enemy's forces single handedly. Or all of them. Sniper ability might have been scan too, so anything on screen marked. Or anything close. Think on screen though which can be one scan covering a lot, nearly all the other team, get into a position where you can see them come out of their base etc, do that, while picking them off. Sniping was hard though, even if with sniper class having 1 shot 1 kill with the sniper rifle. M82 much easier even at all ranges. Shooting may have also exposed you as a sniper too. Maybe not. Or appearing on radar by doing it breifly. Get dead on, enemies coming toward you, like over a bridge sniper could get as many as came, nearly, all at once still overwhelming maybe.You tried anything that might work.Wasn't any disincentive to try. The more you tried the better the player you were. I didn't encounter trash talk either.

You only healed to 50 or 75% health automatically too. So you needed medpacks somewhat as an edge sometimes. And they were instant return to health. No wait. So people in trouble could be back at 100% instantly. Not overwhelmed or dying by the outer range of an explosion of a grenade/rocket.
Maybe not 100%. So better sometimes to wait until regen health took it to 50 or 70, whatever it was and then to full after that.
