I love G1 and G2 but can't deny that I have to savescum most combat encounters with more than 1 opponent because of how janky the controls can be
The first chapter in particular is always really annoying since everything kills you in only a couple of hits

What annoys me in Gothic 1 is that whenever you hit enemy and your sword connects to them with visble blood flying out of them it doesn't do any damage to them because of the bs armor system that doubles their armor value whenever they jump back so most of your hits don't do anything despite being at the proper level to fight them. It might of been a me problem though. Also I hate the weird stun locking shit in Gothic 1 that can happen to you

I've replayed it a few weeks ago, had to run all the way from the old mine to the old camp to buy fireball scrolls because my weapon wasn't doing any damage to the Minecrawler queen
Glad they fixed it in 2 but the random crits there are also annoying as fuck
