This game is fucking shit. Even Metroid Fusion, an overly linear and rather boring Metroid game (with the exception of some key boss battles), absolutely rapes it. Metroid Prime 4 is not what killed Metroid - it's Dread and that shit remake of 2. I can barely remember my playthrough from Dread, but I remember it being so dull and repetitive that any being with some form of intelligence would be bored. Only a retarded drone could enjoy the repeat bosses - I mean, you fight those dark chozo warriors probably 20 or so times. Fucking NES games have less repetition and forced combat sequences than this shit. I never listen to music whilst playing vidya, but I had to because this game was so fucking boring. I never felt rewarded for exploring. I can remember the main upgrades were just missiles, and they were not necessary, as the game is not that hard. The shitty disconnected maps which are thematically so bland and mediocre, in a series NOTORIOUS for its great atmosphere, is fucking cringe inducing. I'd rather play Super over this hog shit anyday, and I was hyped when it came out.
