The difference in power between the top AMD CPU and the top Intel CPU is very minute, so it doesn't matter. Intel CPU's have far stronger multi-core power, but AMD shines more for single-core. I just got a new gaming PC with an Intel CPU, so I don't know much about them. My old gaming desktop used a Ryzen CPU. I never really had a side/preference, but I don't go that deep into it.
