I know I'm old but it's still not normal to me for phones to be 1k+ and consoles to be almost 1k. The PC I got the most use out of had an overclocked 2500k and a 7970 and it cost me like $700 because I got stuff on sale. That thing lasted me a solid 10 years. I think my smartphone from that era was the predecessor to the Google Pixel and it was $300 and that was pretty much the best one available other than maybe $400 phablets which came a little later.These prices are just not normal to me, I feel like a boomer who thinks houses are still supposed to be $30k

I got 2 with plans for a Pro if it dips back to msrp during the holidays but I also have a Series X and Switch. The Series came later but I’ll say one thing it does great is quick resume, what a handy feature but I have a feeling it only exists because of GamePass giving you more games to play than you had time so it encouraged jumping around more.
