I searched every building in Final Fantasy III (SNES) and didn't find a single one that looked anything like a gym with bodybuilders in it. What gives?

Thinking back to when I was a kid, while the general plot is still there, the amount of changes done which you didn't know about and which make no sense are probably massive. Here's Final Fantasy Tactics as an example.

Learning about all the whatevers in FF8 being real dialogue they were too lazy to translate makes me seeth to this day.
