yeah act 2 was my favorite as well, the citadel is excellent

act 3 was a chore, I forced myself to finish the game but I basically didn't have any fun after karmelita (which is the first main boss I defeated) and lost lace was pretty much entirely miserable, worst boss in the game

2 is the peak because Citadel is the coolest thing ever but Act 3 has the best bosses and I found it really cool having a dedicated world is fucked phase. Act 3 is really short compared to 1 and 2, it's basically just the endgame state, so I don't understand people treating it like a third of a game.

For my first playthrough I explored almost everywhere I could, so the "act 3 requirements" were already done before I even killed GMS for the first time, that bitch ass snail was screaming at me all this time but I wanted to do the cursed ending too. Also a lot of the requirements are wishes I did without a second thought, oh a quest asks me for 300 shards that I still haven't used? Sure, take them, whatever. I don't know how everyone who complains about this plays the game, maybe just beelining to the main objective ignoring everything else?
