ITT: Game enemies that scared you as a kid
The fact that the OP image has a red border makes me mad. Makes me think this thread is some kind of psyop. I'm going insane.
>>726115378>BB>kid
>>726115471Are you like legitimately autistic? The portraits in the game art have a red border>Makes me think this thread is some kind of psyopIt's a psyop to get you to talk about game enemies that scared you as a kid
>>726115608An 18 year old would have been 7 when it came out

>>726115378My peanus weanus of course!
>>726115608>>726116213It's time to wake up
There was nothing that special about this guy now that I think about it. Little me was just scared because that enemy always appeared floating at decent speed and punched you far away, the size of the screen also made you not react well to his arrival.
>>726115378>inb4 not an actual enemy>still scared me
when I was like 10 years old I had a nightmare about the ghosts in Diablo 2 that could fly through walls
>>726115378What if he's not baiting? What then?!?!?!?
>>726115378That section in Sonic Heroes with the giant crocodile
>>726115378If you were playing Bloodborne as a 'child' you need to leave this website.
>>726116541Just give it a few more decades and the problem will solve itself
>>726115378*spawns offscreen when you walk near the elevator so you can't rush him when he's emerging into our realm*
>>726116593I clicked this thread because I though the second post would be "but that now arouse you"

>>726115378https://youtu.be/uYSALYkue-gYou may think he's gone. But he will find you.
>>726118947That's what that anon wants you to think but your original guess was correct
>>726118947It was more of a double entendre, to be fair

>>726119297You know what I can't even be mad about it anymore
These heart of darkness shades made me shit myself.
A good chunk of rayman 2 was trippy and made me feel uneasy but this fucker gave me nightmares
he instilled me with great terror as a young boy
>>726115471Are you sure you didn't already post in the thread anon? I'm feeling sleepy, maybe I should go to bed.
>>726115378It's funny how everyone fixated on the age aspect and than the fact that's one of the least scary enemies in bloodborne
>>726115378Underageban
>>726120124My first playthrough i didn't know they only show up when you have insight so witches of hemwick were scary as fuck to fightThen you bone out after entering the arena and spend all your insight making it a trivial walk in the park
i was 8, played the game at a friends house and then had to walk home through the woods after the sun set
these fucks in dn3d
It's not impossible for someone to have played Bloodborne as a kid time-wise, but we literally all know this is just bait. The parents would have needed to buy the PS4 and Bloodborne very early on, the kid would have needed to be good enough at video games to progress through the difficulty as a 10 year old, and for some reason get scared at this very specific enemy that is not any more scary than any other enemy. The whole thing just screams "I want (you)s". Like that post about finding your grandpa's PS3 and then doing maths to prove that something like that would be technically possible
>>726118947even if he was telling you to go die he specified it would take decades so there wouldn't even be cause for offense either way, are you expecting to live to 200 or something?
>>726121297No, I don't expect to make it past my 30sBut yes you are correct I did overact a tad bit
>>726121508*overreactYeah I'm taking a nap
>>726115378
>>726120997>The parents would have needed to buy the PS4 and Bloodborne very early onThe PS4 had been out for two years by the time Bloodborne came out, and most people who buy any game buy it at release. Imagining a 12 year old kid who bought Bloodborne when it came out isn't some far fetched scenario. There's millions of kids 8-12 who bought Elden Ring at release on their PS5/Xbox/PC>the kid would have needed to be good enough at video games to progress through the difficulty as a 10 year old10 year olds are plenty skilled enough to get through Bloodborne, I beat DMC3 when I was 10(the original release where the Normal difficulty was japanese hard difficulty)>and for some reason get scared at this very specific enemy that is not any more scary than any other enemyThis only works if you assume the premise of the thread would only work with this particular enemy. Since the thread would work with any enemy, it's not a factor in the probability of events
>>726115378This fucker
>>726115378I used to panic when I saw those fucking zombie chickens back in Alone in the Dark. In my defense, I was like 6 years old. Also, I was terrified of the Game Over screen (the one on the right), the scene that led to it (with a zombie dragging your body to an altar), and even the music that played during it.I gave up on trying to beat it at the time, and only saw the full gameplay decades later.
>>726122106Is there even a way to outrun that mofo or at least make it not appear during the gameplay, or is he there just to force an end to the game?
>>726115378The opening scene of resident evil directors cut on PS1.. my dad played it, and those zombie dogs scared my 7 yo ass into nightmares for weeks.
>>726115378I've legit had nightmares about it.
>>726115378my peenus weenus of course
>>726125386There is, at least partially. If you time a jump to when he's close you can get enough distance to leave him behind, but he just respawns a bit further on. If you're really lucky you can wrap around the map and return to the start, though I don't remember if I ever pulled that off or if it was just something I inferred from the fact that you can encounter the yeti by walking upward from the starting position. It does seem like the map wraps, at any case. But even if you get away, you'll just return to the start and the whole process starts over again
the whole first section of RE4
As a kid? The dianogas in Shadows of the Empire, but especially the big one at the end of the level. Also the wampas freaked me out too, how they were near indestructible and walked at you that slowly.
>>726115792a 7 year old should not be playing BB and if, they would never get and/or beat it
