Why are most other gamers, with a few exceptions, always the most insufferable, entitled, and retarded assholes you will ever meet, like 90% of the fuckwads I see on other websites are absolute worthless people, like holy fuck its not even possible to make friends anymore.

One of them unironically cheats in single player games to make them easier, even in games that have "game journalist" mode. He used a mod to make his character in BG3 have 30 in every stat, on top of playing on the easiest difficulty. Another friend only plays LoL and Rocket League due to sunken cost fallacy and due to pure egoism forcing him to be the best in the group in any game he touches. A couple of friends play Fortnite and Peak as their main games. Another couple of friends play Genshin Impact exclusively. What makes you think I want to interact with randoms in multiplayer games, risking to meet more specimens like these? Or why should I listen to their opinions about what games to play and how to play them?
