I know a lot of normalfags will straight up drop games before finishing them but with how padded games are these days, anyone playing a game until the end can be in for 80-100 hours of playtime for a single playthrough and for someone that can't no life a game that can take a long time to beat so it creates a situation where people have to work through a backlog of games they're interested in and it's cheaper to pick up the ones on sale because most companies put them on sale for 50% off after 3 to 6 months.
