No, really. shes not in at all. Not as a racer, not as a NPC, not as an item, not even a reference. She gets snubbed out entirely. He never wanted a human in the franchise. He wanted them out of the anime. Friendly reminder: in SSBU, she was nowhere in the game, not even as a spirit. It’s 100% possible that Sakurai doesn’t want the character in the series.

I hate to say it, but this is a very likely scenario, and possibly the truth. Hopes of Ado getting in anything he directs are gone.

Unironically no, the DM trilogy are 3 of the least known Kirby games. Dreamland 2 is the most liked out of the group but most people don't remember Game Boy Color games. 3 is legit one of the worst (mainline) Kirby games and almost ALL of its Animal Buddies were completely forgotten up 'til Star Allies stuffing them in the Cleaning power. And 64 is definitely the most memorable of the trio but still is a game that comes after Super Star and chooses to ignore what it added to the series to its own detriment and is on the 64, one of Nintendo's least successful consoles.

I love Adeline, Ribbon, and Ripple Queen myself, but the DM Trilogy does NOT hold a candle to any of the premier classic Kirby games. Adventure is one of those masterpieces that pretty much everyone needs to play, Super Star is Super Star, and even Dream Course runs circles around and is less tedious than trying to get the good endings of these games. We just kind of have to accept Gooey and Zero-Two being the most love we gonna see out of Sakurai for these games. At the very least, it is just Sakurai who is skittish about such, as the modern Kirby devs clearly hold a lot of love for the franchise as a whole.
