It's mostly arcade-arena 007Goldeneye-style gameplay with silly challenges, and the story doesn't really take itself seriously. And even once they go on the attack, they only really try to advance on you if you try to run away and hide most of the time, unless they're zombies. Here the fuckers see you, and immediately start running your way spamming their weapons while shotgunners instantly hose you down faster than your shotgun works. The lack of the nuances utterly fucks the balance.

Honestly if there's one thing that makes doing challenges/arcade leagues easier in spite of the incredibly violent AI (which can be a benefit to you as well with bot teammates), it's that there's not really any friendly fire so you can be as wanton as you want with explosives and shit, sans the flamethrower for obvious reasons.Very nice to be able to go ape with a rocket launcher and not have to worry about exposing zone areas or bag spawns to enemy teams

I only played TS2 and TS3 but the bots in those games were honestly pretty dumb, especially in story mode. They had an animation where they react to seeing you and after that they start shooting, and usually not very quickly, or accurately.
