>>726782695I think the plot intended for Gladio to get beaten so badly by Ravus that he'd lose his confidence as the king's bodyguard which would lead him to leave the party and go train in his DLC. But the game was so rushed that they didn't even make Ravus a boss in the base game while he was still human. Even the scene where Ravus show up to meet Noctis feels rushed, so the whole context falls flat, even if the idea makes sense.
