Every single game has different map layouts and how the scenarios play out, different difficulty balancing and how mooks/officers fight, different levels of battle simulation where it might be a cakewalk or a genuine struggle to keep your allies alive. "But it's the same story and characters" doesn't mean much when some stuff gets skipped over one game, embellished another, and the surrounding events can be more accurate to the story or way off the rails.If I showed you DW2 and compared it to DW5, you'd think they were near-entirely different games despite the cast and core structure.
