This is already happening in some states and countries, electric bills are spiking 10-30% simply because AI data centers are eating up so much, and the people paying for that are you and me rather than the billionaires or government. God help you if you're in Taiwan and their nightmare droughts, they're gonna basically be obliterated by the resource demand so bad that China will have literally nothing of value to loot from their corpse but a shitty island real estate.

The current tariff on South Korea is only 15%

Just like how egg prices doubled despite actual egg production dropping by less than 2%, but the lie repeated by everyone was the egg prices were because of the avian flu

You don't think they locked in orders months ago? It takes a while when you have to order components and assemble the machines so you need a bretty big buffer of units if you want to meet demand. Valve has the possibility of keeping pc gaming alive since it's what they subsists on, it's actually necessary for their continued survival.

"Living in the forest" is illegal under capitalism

Capitalism is not optional, you can't just pick a spot of land and start building your own house, hunting, farming, etc.

Hell, you can't even build your own house if you own the land

100% of all land is owned but you have to physically exist somewhere, and they charge insane fees to physically exist.

Eskimos built houses for $0 in one day, and paid $0 for housing for the rest of their life.

Wow, it's almost like I deliberately chose the harshest environment with little resources to prove that land-rent is a systematic CHOICE.

Building free housing for everyone would be trivial, capitalism chooses not to, they instead chose to make housing a financial instrument they lend against as collateral and watch appreciate.

>Building free housing for everyone would be trivial, capitalism chooses not to, they instead chose to make housing a financial instrument they lend against as collateral and watch appreciate.
Sure, but it's not like there is a solution to that.
Even if by some miracle capitalism would get crushed humans on top would find the way to turn the whole idea into shit.

It'll probably be fine. But look into undervolting it. These cards undervolt really well for no performance loss, and in some cases you even gain performance if your specific card had bad cooling and was thermal throttling at high usage
Either way undervolting is a no brainer since it'll run cooler and use less power
I shaved off about 100w from the usage and only lost like 1-2fps
If you don't wanna bother undervolting you can just power limit it as well, an 80% power limit seems to be about the sweet spot where you gain a lot of power saving and heat abd only lose a couple fps, or do 85% or so for no fps loss

2025 federal tax revenue: 5.1 trillion
2025 federal interest payments: 970 billion

The US government spends about 20% of tax revenue just paying interest to creditors alone

They are currently adding 2 trillion more debt each year (the deficit), the interest on this snowballs.

It's pretty obvious why gold is skyrocketing, we're about to test the sustainability of the US monetary system.
Interest payments being an increasingly large % of total tax revenue, what happens when you're paying 30, 40, 50% of all tax revenue on just interest?
It's not exactly a distant future problem either, 2 trillion more debt each year + interest on that debt? What real-world value and wealth gains are going to pay for this? It's like a 5-10 year future problem.
