I've played Black, I've played 2 and I've played Razors Edge, I have to say that I think I despise Ninja GaidenThe combat is sometimes fun but its surrounded by so much annoying cancer
NG4 is the first decent game in the series
>>727503034I did try out 4 as well, I didn't get far because it felt like the same shitBerserk mode and that other mode are kind of cool I guess, but it just feels samey
>constantly see ninja gaiden "fans" in other action game threads going on about how epic and badass and hardcore NG is>any time i make an NG thread about the games it's silence
>>727503695At least articulate your points if you want answers. You just shit on the game and you want this to start a discussion?
>>727503867I've gone over my issues with the series many, many, many, MANY times, only to be met with retarded webm posturing of Itagaki being a faggot and "heh get good filtered zoomer"
>>727503912Ok.
Get back to me after you've experienced true ninjakino
>>727503034Magnetic slop with no weight or impact and completely dogshit animations.it's even worse because on master ninja enemy setups and behaviors don't actually get harder. everything just 1 shots you including the cheap pissy little enemies with weak attacks that the devs did not scale properly because they're lazy and retarded.
>>727504483This, too much ludic necrosis and resource snowing with zero density
You get dishonest posts like that one, saying 4 has all these issues yet somehow Black and 2, the most retardedly designed games of all time, are perfect and somehow Itagaki isn't lazy and retarded, but Platinum are
>>727504483Wrong >>727504509One day mork will play the games he claims to love, but not today
>>727502981>Man I hate these gamea>I hate them so much>But I beat them all I really didHuh, yeah. I totally believe you.Especially 3RE, the fucking slog of a game with nothing going for it besides having 6000 Trials and a decent combat engine.I Know What You Are.
>>727504672Literally just said I found the combat fun but marred by a ton of shit surrounding itRead more, either read my post, or read Treasure Island because it's so fucking good, but read something
>>727504672>besides having 6000 Trials and a decent combat engine.RE trials are so fun. Wish they'd re-add coop to master collection for it. Anyway op is a fag
>>727504715>marred by a ton of shit surrounding itThese games are literally nothing but combat.
>>727504857Uh yeah OK but the thing is I don't talk to Lufenian faggots
>>727504897No jack, you are the faggot
>>727504715>>727504897So what issue could you possibly have with 2? There's no puzzles or explorable areas like Black, there’s no cutscenes or qtes like 3RE it's just wall-to-wall combatGo onTalk
>>727505043Oh come the fuck on, are you seriously acting as if 2 is some beacon of genius perfect design with nothing you could possibly think is horribly designed? Not even Itagakifags are this dishonest
Why does NGB and NG2 looks and play so much better than 3RE. Why does 3RE feel like a low budget indie game and Why is it suddenly praised as this amazing game.
>>727505324RE is so much better than the first 2 it's unreal, but NGfags don't play, they just post LE EPIC BTFO webms of Shitagaki
>>727504483>slopOpinion disregarded.
>>7275050432 still has the fish.
>>727505324Why do you insist on posting shitty bait?
modded Sigma is the best version now, it removes some of the bullshit and you can restore most of the shitty changes
>>727505795>Dont you dare call out NG3 its a great gameNo; it looks like shit visually, the story and areas you fight are boring, the music is garbage, the blood effects are bad, the enemy design and boss design are worse than its predecessors. Its a poorly made NG game.
>>727504483Master Ninja absolutely uses different enemy setups, with upgraded enemies having different, more behaviours. It's actually probably one of the more common complaints that the only way to get the different enemy layouts means you also have to deal with the increased damage.
>>727505078NoI'm saying it's just inoffensive action that couldn't possibly cause a normal person to schizo out like you arefucking autist>>727505680circle y
>>727505043Oh geez let me see.>the overall bad bosses outside of 1 that gets reused multiple times>the forgettable ost>the unfinished and downright bugged out enemies like the worms>the massive frame rate and crashing issues if you are running on original hardware>the amount of softlocks the game has including but not limited to bosses disappearing mid fight>the mediocre balancing that was outright claimed by the devs themselves.>really fucking shit bosses holy shitAm I missing something? Oh yeah the ENTIRETY OF CHAPTER 9Itagaky was an alright guy but ng2 was rushed as shit and it shows.
>>727502981The "bad" things in these games actually just make them better because the games are ludo. Something like NG4 is shit at the very core and made by retarded amateurs so its just rotten shit all the way through, but Itagaki putting something like the worm swamp right after the worm tunnel in vanilla NG2 is comparable to something like the frenetic editing and music in a Shinya Tsukamoto film, intended to break your mind. Itagaki taps into true ludo of what it means to become a ninja, suffer through grueling circumstances with eternally developing stamina and killer instinct until you're simply unphased and proceed with the mission. It's ironic that yakumo keeps saying this line when the entire game he's in is focused on removing everything that made this franchise what it was and turning it into generic "learn da enemy movesets and dodge/parry them" zogslop in the vein of any normiecore souls game. I think we should start calling them reactionslop because the term "parryslop" is honestly a bit too limiting and specific. it all started from the rollslop that even literal quadruplegics could beat on dancepads by just memorizing boss movesets
I just learned every weapon in NG4 has its own Bloodraven Shuriken attack, including DDB. I’d say they should tutorialize that better but I also evidently missed BR Kage Hikuro having the same just-charge mechanic as the hammer (albeit not tied to hits)
