Getting this to work correctly on the Steam Deck proved more challenging than I anticipated.The only things I had to do differently from the instructions was install the vcrun2019 runtime with protontricks and start steam through the terminal in desktop mode then start the game. Otherwise starting it from gaming mode just doesn't launch.
