A game where you need to play with the stats that will allow you to take the Sniper perk or you shouldn’t bother.
>>
You are unlikely to make it out of the first dungeon as a new player unless you look up a guide on how to create a character that can make it out.
Ignore the smelly retards that will inevitably swarm me saying I'm wrong, I'm not wrong and they know it.

A much bigger version of Fallout 1

Actually the bigger problem for newer players is probably how to open the damn temple doors
>>
>>727504801
Its not even made by Bethesda. Non canon uncslop. Play F4 and maybe f3

No, this poster is right. You need to build your character for either melee/armed combat or speech or you won’t be able to start the game proper. You can just talk the guy out of the final encounter if you have high enough speech/intelligence.

Prestigious statement

I played all of them, in my opinion Fallout 3 is the only one I safely recommend to skip, nobody will miss anything by skipping that. 4 has issues of course, but it's still a fun enough game to make it worth playing.

Great game but you should play Fallout 1 first.

If you want the game to basically be easy mode, there are plenty of guides online on how to go straight to Navarro and also complete the Brotherhood fetch quest from San Francisco. You'll basically get the best weapons and power armor at the beginning of the game.

I recently started playing it after beating Fallout 1 and I have to say that the world feels much bigger and alive compared to the first game. And it also has so much more content compared to Fallout 1 it's actually mind boggling

I don't have any problem with this being in the game as a possibility for those who want to do it, but I can't imagine playing the game like this.
>>
>>727504983
he's right. i remember back in the day we didn't even know there was a game beyond the temple because it was such a daunting task that no one could complete.
>>
>>727505619
I can understand if people do it on replays of the game
>>

I beat all the Fallout games this year (except Tactics, BoS, and 76) and I actually agree, Fallout 3 was my least favourite out of all the games

mediocre early game, kino mid game, awful end game
download the inventory filter mod

If you don't read the manual then you're in for a 20-30 minute round trip back to your library screen.
From the steam library page scroll down a little bit, you'll see a manual around where things like achievements and screenshots usually show up.
Was expected then, is still expected now. They weren't able to fit a tutorial in the game.

If you want a cheat sheet for a build just run 9 or 10 agility and grab the Fast Shot and Gifted traits. You'll be able to out-spam anything for the entire game and have enough core stats in the important skills to brute force any scenario.
Tag one of your choice of Small Guns, Melee or Unarmed even if you don't plan on using any of them. Dump all of your first level up's points into whatever skill you picked. You should practically never miss any combat rolls again for the rest of the game.

I was able to beat f2 when I was nine at it's release. And I had no manual because my pirated copy translated by pirates had no manual, just a cd.
And at the time the only other games I played were commandos, aoe2 and lego:rr.
I simply don't understand what kind of difficulty can anyone get there. And if your character doesn't work, just make another character. Temple of trials is short, is just 3 small maps that you don't have to fully clear. If anything, you can avoid almost all but three encounters, one of which can be solved with pickpocket or speech.
You can milk it to get your first level in there if you wish.
You have to be braindead or just really really bad with games to have issues there.

A fun, atmospheric game.
However the tutorial segment is the only minus of it.
>>
Strictly worse than FO4
>>
>>727504801
Reddit writing, shit story, disjointed locations, badly balanced gameplay, way too fucking long encounters.
>>
>>727504983
you can pickpocket the key off the guy open the door and leave
you even get more XP for it than fighting him

Case in point of the smelly retards. Thank you for demonstrating, appreciate it.
