People generally don't have a reason to care about tournaments if their pick loses. People are shitting at 2023 for being a repeat of 2021, but 2021 had a quite good idea of gathering people together and 2023 replicated it to some extent.I don't say we need to repeat teams, but I hope at least some picks incorporate their previous rounds in their campaign. Like I really enjoy Arthas gathering the Scourge from defeated opponents and I hope he will use Ocelot zombie/death knight this round

JC losing to Shadow was the cherry on top, though I'd argue the mood was already down by quarterfinals. It doesn't help that JC in both 2022 and 2024 has shown to be a late bloomer in terms of campaigning. Shadow was going at it since the start, which made him the "obvious winner" by the time quarterfinals rolled around.
