Easily. If it's the same concept, if the entire world is connected from start to finish. A big thing that would kill it for me is if they boldy decide it needs a bunch of diverse environments so Gordon and Alyx are taking a helicopter everywhere or some shit. I think there was a helicopter in the leaked script, but this wouldn't be a problem if it's a one time thing.
