Pic super fucking related.
>>
>game is too hard to figure out without a guide
>>
>>728343502
this one was nearly impossible
the only thing close to this in outer wilds was the ash twin teleporter before they changed the game to make it clearer
>>
>>728343253
the guide is in the back of the ship
>>
>>728346124
that requires me to use my brain and to navigate that stupid planet that is falling apart, and to figure out those stupid little cones you launch
>>
>>728343253
There's literally a lab that explains this mechanic to you. There's a place that explains every mechanic. And your ship will even clue you if you missed something somewhere.
>>
>>728346256
lab? like on the beginning planet? or maybe on the twins, that sounds like where a lab might be
>>
>>728346305
Brittle Hollow, ackshually. IIRC, that is.
>>
>>728346184
is this an ironic post?
if you don't like thinking play call of duty
>>
>>728346509
It got boring doe
>>
>>728346694
only for you
>>
>>728343253
I know right? There should be a quest pop-up with a directional arrow towards Brittle Hollow after reading the message about testing the cyclones.
>>
>>728343502
AAAAAAAAA
>>
>>728347024
CAn't there be an in game guide telling you which planets to visit in which order?

I know just the guy.

Nah, Outer Wilds gave you just enough clues my only criticism is that.

The quantum collapsing of the wave function behavior by taking a picture didn't make any sense, just because you take a picture of something doesn't mean it would be fixed there would need to be an active observer watching
Me overthinking it meant when I tried to visit the quantum moon, I knew enough about physics to think that just taking a picture would work so what I did instead was stick the probe on the front of my ship and then try to fall into the quantum moon watching myself which did actually work but it was only later I realised that you literally just needed to take a picture
>>
>>728347107
There is no order.
>>
>>728348173
But they could pick one and present it
>>
>>728347824
well the picture is on your screen so you're watching it
wonder if that meant if there was a picture someone was looking at it would stay still
>>
>>728348197
they present you with a solar system and you're free to explore and gather the clues by yourself
that's the best fucking part of the game
that's the whole game
what the fuck man
the one "presented" is the home planet you start at
>>
>>728348553
that's too hard, it's like why not ask me to read an ancient greek text, ok I can go in any direction so what?
>>
>>728343253
Only bad part was the tower puzzle and only because it's random.
>>
>>728348626
unironically just play call of duty. this masterpiece is wasted on you.
>>
I've been to Brittle Hollow like 20 times, still no idea how to get to the black hole forge.
>>
>>728348721
I like counterstrike since I'm a man of culture
>>
>>728348869
If you can't recognize what the pattern on the ceiling is you won't have any use for the information stored there.
You can also brute force it by landing your ship upside down on the ceiling.
>>
>>728343253
Cool game, but i gave up on the dlc when i had to play blind hide and seek

>>

What?
>>
>>728351229
he's talking about twitch streamers that pretend to have ephiphanies but are actually looking stuff up.
>>
>>728343253
I understand if you use them for action games but why watch guides for a puzzle game, Just watch a walkthrough instead
>>
>>728351229
eat my whole ass
>>

There's a really important room that half the logs talk about in which there's big gifs of the tornados spinning and what their secret is.

>>

Looks like AIslop
>>
>>728343253
if anything the game was dreadfully boring because it was not hard to figure out at all. most of the "gameplay" is just discovering puzzle components, oh wow! flying the rocket is good though. i wouldn't mind a game that was just more of that.
