There's also something to be said about the fact that amazon is an outsider in this industry.

Also, I don’t want to play games on my Mac besides some casual stuff when I'm travelling, I use exclusively for work and Parallels is paid on top of it (when I got the Mac I already had my gaming PC, so it makes no sense to virtualise).

I went to add a game to my cart from my wishlist in Steam recently. It automatically picked the cheapest of multiple bundles the game was in, based on the games I already owned, and added that one to the cart instead of the default option of the game itself which would have been more expensive.
