I'm sure nobody in the P2P cracking scene has 0 day exploits for escaping from HyperV, VirtualBox, etc., though of course the trojan could be a timebomb.The games almost always fully work as a regular user even if instructions tell to run as administrator or the installer (which I run I a VM) requires it. If you're really paranoid you can make a second restricted user account for running cracked games.So far I've not had any money stolen, files encrypted for ransom, or noticed my computer is suddenly mining crypto or participating in a DDoS attack. None of those have happened to people less paranoid than me either.
