What I've found with Dracotail is the non-engine tends to be where the deck loses. If you draw handtraps off your trap cards you lose gas fast. If Arthalion gets negated you lose gas fast too.Dracotail is helped by imperm/veiler being rarer due to the meta demands for lingering handtraps and also playing well into turn 1 board that can't use either veiler or imperm

Any fairy for an example is instant full Madolche combo or Axon line. Sometimes both. My favorite thing about it is that it's all just from one card, Spellbook of the Grand Circle, and there's two other cards that searches for it without any cost aside from one of them making you give up your Normal Summon. Sure, it's not gonna make Charmers tier 1 but it's at least now consistent and good unlike before. I fucking can't wait for this new support to come out already!

I tried out the new psychics to find what exactly is wrong with them. They have an appropriate amount of 1 cadd starters and a wide selection of extenders but they just use to much LP to activate thier effects for seemingly no good reason. Sure thier Boss monsters are strong but they aren't THAT strong and absolute axiom even has a 2000 LP cost to activate its summon effect. The deck just runs out of gas to quickly, especially if you have to play through hand traps. It also locks you into psychics and doesn't leave you too many options.

The invoked privilege to banish opponents GY for your fusions is still really nice and the invoked bosses that require ED monsters are pretty good.I like Artmage Azamina the most but those other two options are fine as well, and K9 will work as well in the near future.

I've grown to really like Red Reboot, especially after having multiple Dracotail players that end in just Ant + backrow immediately scoop when I drop it.
As far as Maliss goes I'm surprised allure of darkness didn't catch a limit or something as penance for that deck existing. A few years ago I thought it was degenerate when branded could banish despia tragedy for the draws + search but Maliss makes that look like kid stuff.
