Despite all its flaws it's the first enjoyable soulsborn game since bloodborne
Dark souls 3 and Elden Ring had the worst combat in the entire franchise and are incredibly dull to play.

wtf, i loved the cool shields, guard counters, jump attacks, better parries and fancy weapon arts
my only qualm is that most bosses and enemies are pretty boring

all of that shit is kind of negated by the enemy design sadly, they're all too fast, close in too much distance and have too much poise for any of that cool shit to be practical in most situations, to say nothing about the braindead decision of making the vast majority attack have one or two attacks that are actually straight up unstunnable
it's just retarded, they give you all these cool toys and they just don't work save for a few exceptions.
