MSQ: it was obvious that we have a new writer for this section. no meandering, no npcs repeating their shit. no, nothing of real value happened aside from Krile going through the Zidane arc in about an hour. Dungeon was middle of the road. The middle boss Amdusias is a pretty good boss, the other two were meh. Doomtrain was a spectacular fight if not a touch too easy. at least Zelenia would kill you if you didn't respect her mechanics. instance battle was meh. cute little mini arc. Halmarut has potential to be an interesting character I feel, but then again, all characters have potential.Arcadion: The story wasn't how I predicted it would go but overall it felt satisfying in the end. I'm a touch disappointed that we didn't get a royal rumble (but we don't know what phase 2 will be in m12s) and i really wanted a brute undertakerinator, shockingly he went face for a bit. i am left with a question of 'was eutrope in on it' as the other heavyweights were in on it. also, was there no way for the dude to commit suicide, or was the spectacle worth all those lives? the fights on the other hand. i was expecting 4 good fights in line with previous tiers. i got 2. M9 is a great fight, M10 less so but still paltable. We traded Fatebreaker 3.0 for Diamond Weapon 2.0 and it was awful. which is unfortunate because I enjoyed Tyrant's character a lot. i got the privilege of being double disappointed in m12n. phase 1 was too easy and phase 2 was even easier. it felt like a desperation phase you see a lot of MSQ trials have.
