Not being able to buy every monster upgrade material was cheap as fuck, though.Your options for power orbs are rng hell with toads or the big cieth fucker in the plains.Neither is very appealing or fun to do.If chocobo racing could carry you there that would have been pretty good, but they really limit what you can buy in the monster shop for no good reason.

>>728718786Yeah, that was actually the plan (well, dev problems meant they had to pare down 13 for release as day one multiplat, but they always intended to use the engine and assets to make multiple games set in the same universe).The entire trilogy really should be played. I recommend playing 13-2, then 13, then LR. I think it's a better way to set up context and get accustomed to the gameplay before 13's achronological storytelling and thirty hour tutorial.
