I'd rather just ran a generic psyker instead of her. You could argue that she's good lategame because you can easily kill the daemons, and that it's only a problem early game. But at the same time, the early game is the only part that actually poses any difficulty. The space cop guy (I forgot his name) is also pretty bad. He's stuck as a Arbites-Soldier-Overseer with the dog companion. Arbites, Soldier and Overseer are all good individually but work poorly together. The dog companion is easily the worst overseer subclass, lacking the damage of the Eagle and the support of the Raven/Skull. The Soldier/Arbites leans towards a blasting people with your shotgun playstyle, but then the Overseer wants you to use the dog to support by locking down enemies/protecting allies. You'd be much better with a Soldier/Arbites that goes Master Tactician as the second archetype.

The issue with black characters in Owlcat titles is that so far they have been very boring as written characters. I remember nothing about the ranger in Kingmaker, the froglike paladin in WotR (who was a Paizo character so already a lost cause) or the psyker in Rogue Trader. None of them also had a visual design that looked either attractive or generally visually interesting. If you can't write characters at bare minimum draw a hot portrait.
