I bought no new games on steam, everything I bought was on playstation, since I've been playing any older games I can get on it, new games too.

If you're put off by civ switching on a fundamental level it's probably not for you but if you're not and you liked previous civs it's worth trying. Fwiw I was very sceptical about switching but ended up loving it.
