Enemies are repeated a lot, gearing is pretty much pointless, in-game unlocks for cosmetics are nice but it's just recolors. There is a item in the game that doubles damage done and taken, it is absolutely mandatory.You know pretty much exactly what you get from the start: Oppression bad, but both races can be bad, do the five elemental bosses, mid game revelations, kill god. You can't tell what the twists will be, but know exactly when it comes.The characters are bare-bones and delivered mostly through exposition. They get downright bizarre in the DLC, which is a second campaign that takes away all your progress. I'm certain that was planned as a full game but had to be squeezed into a DLC. The story is way too rushed to be intentional. The dumb outfit DLCs grant extra abilities. No idea if they're good, but I hate that practice.The music is pretty good, though it can be very funny when it areas only have one theme for the entire game. E.g. you attack an enemy stronghold while the music goes full blast and it keeps that aggressive theme even after you turned the area into your own base.
