As you all know, I calculated Minesweeper to be the only perfect video game in existence. However, after the past two days not being able to complete the game I've decided to remove it from that position. I will update on when I find the next potential candidate.

tactical nexus seems up your alley

I see a furry character, already that's minus 1 point, and therefore not a candidate for a perfect video game.

>>728872048
nah it doesn't have furry

tetris attack is the perfect game, retard

I mean, you know, "LET ME SEE MY LUCK STAT", you know? But the reality is, Minesweeper has slightly too many guesses. Starting the game requires spamming until you get a game going, and then no matter what I suppose you can always make educated guesses, but those two factors combined are the only flaw Minesweeper has.
Also, games need to have Luck stats, and also female characters in games need to have a debuff to strength and intelligence. That's unrelated but it's something that bothers me.

I've already explained why Tetris is not a perfect video game, please follow my /b/ blog more carefully. I understand other people use /v/ to make their own threads, but this board was originally created for the purpose of my posts.

What is your opinion on the original Rogue games, like, well, rogue, or NetHack
>>
>>728873353
Not him, but I would consider BrogueCE to be just about as perfect a game as there could be.
>>
>>728871840
What about Picross-type games?

your thread starts out with "i was wrong about my previous conclusions"
hence, other conclusions are suspect

Thank you all for your submissions to the "Perfection Games Society" where we unfortunately have not yet given out any reward in our 20+ year history. Maybe some day.

Someone posted in another thread I made "Elves owe me SEX!" which is a great WoW guild name, but I wish you'd stop following me around.

I was wrong about Minesweeper being perfect, just as I was wrong years ago about Tetris being perfect. I am always right when I'm wrong.
Tetris is easy to know it's not perfect, because so many versions of it exist, and many have blatantly improved on the original game. If you can improve a game, it is not perfect. But if you cannot improve the game that doesn't mean it's perfect either.
And simplistic games can come to near perfection easily, Pong is very simplistic, it accomplished its goal, there's nothing they could have done to improve it, but it's not a perfect game.
I might have to just do near-perfect games 9.99/10.

Tetris Attack is great, but you're confusing "perfect" with "fun as hell when you're 12 and on a sugar high." The game’s balance is tight, yeah, and Yoshi being the face certainly earned it points in Nintendo Power, but it's not immune to degeneracy. Chain mechanics get broken at high levels and turn into pure muscle memory war. At that point you're just slapping blocks on instinct like a trained chimp on Red Bull. Good? Yes. Perfect? Only if your definition of perfection involves migraines and carpal tunnel.

I'm so glad they made a Minesweeper MMORPG, I've been waiting my whole adult life for that.

Minesweeper X lets you have custom skins, I was surprised there's no anime loli pantsu type skin, it's very easy to make a skin, it's just a bmp image. So maybe I'll do that.

also i heared shattered pixel dungeon is good but havent given it a go yet (also cogmind is great if you're more into more gear-oriented roguelikes rather than rpg-like stat gain ones)

>Minesweeper is no longer a perfect game
Anyone who knows how to play that shit could tell ytou Minesweeper was NEVER a perfect game.
There will always be times when you have to just guess.
>>
>>728881836
That's the point.
>>
>>728871840
Picross/nonograms are superior. Picross fans know this.
