Rest assured the next Elder Scrolls will have lots and lots of trees
16 TIMES THE TREES
Hope they add a talking tree.
Valenwood wont be playable until 2064 (eso doesnt count)
What is this new "tree" meme, sounds dogshit
16 TIMES THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTSThose trees are expensive you know
>>728891987skill trees? honestly I want daggerfall level of autism with the class builds, skyrim was basically fantasy farcry
>>728891987It's Falkreath.
>>728892931Everything about Daggerfall sucked ass except for the plot.
>>728891987Behold, the giant majestic moving tree of valenwood. The most iconic part of the whole place. Center of the wood elves. Enjoy our bethesda touch with its 5 buildings and 2 stories tall of accessible space.
>>728891987Oblivion had more trees than Skyrim.
>>728891987>t. people with zero pattern recognition get hyped for a game from a studio that has produced nothing but shit for almost 2 decades
>>728891987>111,111Thats the number he said to beat thanks to a youtibe video from earlier today kek
It's High Rock.Plenty of forests like Cyrodiil. Although Skyrim didn't have much trees or pines outside of Falkreak and Riften.
>>728893272No shit retard but does Hammerfell have more trees than Skyrim? No.
I have no faith anymore, I won't play it unless it miraculously goes back to having deep RPG systems like Daggerfall and Morrowind. It's funny how Todd grew up playing shit like Ultima and old school RPGs yet keeps dumbing down his games. It doesn't even make sense.
>tfw you won't live to see Skyrim 12 in 12.12.2121
He means that we can land our Dwemer airship anywhere and generate as many random landmasses with infinite trees and the same bandit camp and abandoned fort POIs as we want.
If TES turns out to be anything other than shit, I will sell all my belongings and move to Vietnam, and live the rest of my life as a bum.
>>728894762Anon, he's a businessman first these days and Skyrim with its simplification sold fucking gangbusters over and over across a load of rereleases
Fun fact: There are about 3 trillion (with a t) trees on earth right now, which is about one-half of how many trees there were a few thousand years ago.
>>728894180I literally got that in my feed, 5 minutes ago, although I didn't watch it.On a related note. I am currently replaying Skyrim. And after reaching High Hrotghar, I asked myself a question. A question that I have asked myself every time I play the game, but have never bothered finding the answer to.Are there actually seven thousand steps, leading up to the top?If no, how many? And, have they tried adding in steps where there are now missing steps, that obviously were there originally?
>>728895578>enough trees for every man to build a home>people still die on the streetsGrim
>>728895634It's not even close anon, apparently it's just over 1/10th of that
>>728895805What a hack.
>>728895634Todd said he could check but the final estimate number is around 46k trees.
>>728896137that's a weird dog
Higher Gamepass subscription levels will get more trees.
>>728894630Every province has more trees than Skyrim
>>728891987This is a soft confirmation that they aren't doing it in Hammerfell, and thank God for that. My bet is High Rock.
>>728894762Brother the entire point of Morrowind was making a massive, deep RPG accessible for normalfags on Xbox. That was Todd's big idea. He kept the idea going with Oblivion and Skyrim. Morrowind is the exact kind of game you should hate
>>728897203Or, like another anon mentions High Rock, but also Wakandafell.
>>728897203Not necessarily. Endless procedurally generated terrain would mean infinite trees and a larger game world could easily mean more trees despite lower density. I can't believe the only fucking information we've received about this game in 7 years is that it has a lot of trees.
>>728894762"Old school RPGs" are designed to waste your time with undocumented mechanics and noob trap useless stats. This approach fell out of favor 20 years ago or so.
it'll be so much fun to play when it releases in 2032
>>728897203>TES6 development started in 2020 at peak wokeness and BLM>they had to scrap the entire project when Trump got electedkino
>elf runs up to you.>I have a.. letter for you, yep thats it.>"hey NAME bring me that DWEMER ARROW and you get money"Time passes>elf runs up to you.>I have a.. letter for you, yep thats it.>"hey NAME bring me that DWEMER ARROW and you get money"Radiant quests my ass.
>>728894541Shut the fuck retard it's not
Trees? Must be Cyrodiil, with its lush jungles
Can't believe Bethesda is going to take 30 years to make one TES game and it's not even going to be that much better than Skyrim like still having "sprawling maze-like cities" that consist of 13 buildings and a wall.
>>728897892You're awfully optimistic to think we don't have at least 10 more years of waiting
>>728898553It will come out on PS7 at this rate.
>>728891987Valenwood is what I hope for most honestly. I love the aesthetic and the whole religious cannibalism thing would be cool.
>>728894630It will in the elders scrolls 6 and anyone that thinks otherwise is deluded, they dont give a fuck about lore.
>>728898468Bethesda is taking so long making Elder Scrolls 6 because they've gotta keep finding ways to just keep fucking destroying Skyrim so people stop modding it and enjoying it.
>>728898930It might seem cool but it's not. Nobody is allowed to tamper with the nature to such an extreme degree that nobody can cook, light up alchemical equipment or do any smithing. Residents are reduced to bone through the nose retardation, that's why any Bosmer who wants to be anyone migrates to any other province. Thalmor's huge transgression was just going in and burning down shit, including Falinesti. That happened before the events of Skyrim though.
Hopefully it's Morrowind 2 with lore accurate Cyrodiil or somethingAnd not Daggerfall/Arena 2 with a practically infinite distance between cities
Personally I'd prefer Elsweyr.
>>728891987It's still High Rock, I've said it before, I'll say it again. 6 has to compete the Wulfharth prophecy, the empire must die and the last thing keeping the Empire an empire is High Rocks loyalty.Anyway you start as a prisoner, and the last heir of a noble house bequeathes his lands and titles to you as he dies. Basically you're the minutemen but in TES, building up the failed barony, starfield ship building stuff for a drivable sail ship in Illiac Bay and the surrounding waters. Orsinium and nearby Hammerfell dlc.
>>728899382Well then I look forward to playing it after a Sim Settlements 2 level mod is released, so settlement building stops being gay as fuck and actually becomes incredibly fun because I like making dioramas.
>>728899273>lore accurate CyrodiilIt's not a jungle in Arena and Battlespire. The jungle bullshit is from an out of game book.
Guys, my Dawnbreaker sword just disappeared through the floor after I hung it on the wall.
>>728899536If it makes you feel any better Starfield gave you the ability to free cam during build so it's a lot less awful than FO4s implementation.
>>728899363they would just ruin khajiit lore, wouldn't they
>>728899857They should've just dropped Starfield after it's shitty release. Nobody cares or is going to give it another chance with new DLC Bethesda is convinced will turn it around cyberpunk style.
>>728894762Starfield
>>728900106Already did in ESO. They're no longer lore thieves who just claimed other provincial myths and misspelled the names of deities. Now they wuz kangz who built functional stargates to the moons, for real and not just in their narcotic stupor.
I hope it's not Valenwood because I hate b*smer and my autism compels me to only play the native race of that game's province.I would actually probably just not even buy it and just keep playing the others instead.
>>728900331Just play as an Uncle Ruckus.
Skyrim vanilla has fuckin retarded trees anyway. All the evergreen trees are no older than 10 years for some fucking reason. The Bigger Trees mod is one of the few that has to be in EVERY mod list, no matter what. It's crazy how much better it makes the world feel. Bethesda is so fucking inept and lazy it's unbelievable.
im sick of using a fuckin 800 watt supercomputer generating a fuckton of heat and noise to render some dogshit AAA game that often even kinda looks like ass despite it allthis game gets 90fps on 20 watts of computer power at 720p and is more fun than almost any modern racing game
>>728900109Bro you guys wanted aliens to mod, you're going to get them, Emil was pissed but he seems to have come around on it.
>>728891987>makes and releases the greatest trilogy in gaming (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim) in the span of 9 years >for the next two decades categorically refuse to make good games, make a shitty live service MMO and a boring and shitty space gamewhat the fuck is his issue
>>728900701Oblivion said that Skyrim was supposed to have those rare but massive ironwood trees from which alchemists sourced nuts. Wormwood should also be growing on the Skyrim side of Jerall mountains. According to Morrowind, there should be also belladonna, holly and wolfsbane growing in the coastal regions.
>>728901379That would be cool, but unfortunately if you played the game you would know that the setting does not have aliens. They managed to make the most boring setting they could>there was a war with factions, there was mechs and big skirmishes in space>"nah that was like 20 years ago now, were all at peace"Nigga the game is fucking boring, this is like if they set Skyrim 20 years after the dragonborn, the dragons are all gone, the civil war is over and the only race there is is Nords in the entire world. They fucked up so bad making a setting that its not fixable, just make something new. This isnt even mentioning gameplay, its so floaty and weightless with braindead AI and utterly monotonous combat where the only thing that changes between encounters is the color of the suit the enemy wears. The update is going to be something like "we added blood" but not dismemberment.
>>728891987No shit Todd, Skyrim had like 5 trees
>>728894762I'll pirate it and if it's halfway decent I'll buy it years later second hand.
>>728901704I see why we pay Indians to deal with you guys.I am telling you, sentient aliens in the next dlc, 3 kinds.
>>728902210Fuck off Emil.
>>728891987I'm currently playing Skyrim for the first time and I genuinely think we've lost something since 2011. For all of its faults, there's no way they can pull off a good sequel today.
>>728891987The next Elder Scrolls story will also be linked to the Fallout television series. Make sure to give it a watch to find out more about our next adventure in Tamriel.
>>728902359To think this is wrong because elder scrolls 6 will be the superior game you will see. technology is better now
200x the ai generated treesEach tree, a unique leaf texture 200 years for the dlc with snowflake ai available on GEforce subscribestar
>>728902396Is Todd going to go the Fallout is a prequel to TES route like retards qere spouting a decade ago?
>>728902210Uh huh, and the last update fixed the game because it added vehicles. They need to make a different game not try and salvage this boring shite.Unless they completely remake the game and its basically Outlaw Star, I dont give a fuck. The setting is so boring, unlike CP, the setting was interesting and the game needed to catch up to it, the setting of Starfield and its gameplay are just not interesting. Theres nothing to fix, they need to overhaul.
>>728902740>Seosamh = josephhow the FUCKirish people explain yourselves
>>728902760That would unironically be kino if they pull it off
Akavir never
They probably scrapped whatever system they had for es6 since the oblivion remaster did so well.
>>728894180skyrim was released on 11 11 11 which is why he said that number
>>728899231I'll have to take your word for it, my own knowledge of elder scrolls lore is very surface level.
>>728904247Theres a reason the northern irish are saying they dont want to spread it, sure its a nice cultural affect to have but jesus this langauge sucks my ass. Its a dead language for more reasons than the British supressing it. The wording is entirely phonetic and not meant for spelling. Its why it just doesnt work anymore in the age where writing is normalized, this needs its own written language and it doesnt have one, this is why it was anglecized, but now that theyre bringing it back it doesnt make sense to use English as the written way of spelling things at all.It just makes signs impossible to decipher. Note how everything has to be said twice because even people that speak the language dont fucking undestand how to say it let alone spell it when its said to them.>so this letter says just keep going and youll reach "Baile Sheain"Nigga who? I was told to go to Johnstown.
>>728904957>skyrim released on 11/11/11tes 6 should release on 28/28/28, that would be cool
>>728905530>Theres a reason the northern irish are saying they dont want to spread itBecause they're the ultimate good goys for the anglokikes. An import is gonna burn the Book of Kells and the ulsterites will say it was a silly thing that had no place in modern Britain.
>>728905057Almost all sources are from ESO. Prior to that, Redguard and Oblivion boxes came with pocket guides which briefly described every province from the perspective of sheltered academics in Imperial City.Redguard edition (Redguard is set near the end of Second Era, before Septim Empire):https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Pocket_Guide_to_the_Empire,_1st_Edition/Aldmeri_DominionOblivion edition:https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Pocket_Guide_to_the_Empire,_3rd_Edition/ValenwoodA book that was in TES 3 through 5, describes animal-tier war between Bosmer and Khajeet:https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Mixed_Unit_TacticsThis is a fictional novel about Valenwood, half truth and half sensational fairy tale shit:https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:A_Dance_in_FireA TES 2 book that mentions an army from Valenwood raiding High Rock. The army was largely undead, not conventionally armed:https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:The_Fall_of_the_UsurperSkyrim's main quest is another source. The Bosmer who helps with infiltration of the Thalmor embassy came from Falinesti, the moving capital tree of Valenwood. His parents were murdered in Thalmor purges and Falinesti itself was either burnt down or badly damaged by fire.https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:J%27datharr%27s_Note
>>728905979Well, now that you say it, things have changed, Ulster is still Irish, the same way Scotland didnt stop being Scottish just because they were part of Britian. Turns out the migrant shit might infact be the thing that unites the Irish against globohomo shit AND the BritishIm sure if youve kept up with things there you would see that even Sinn Feinn in the north and south are being labelled traitors by the Irish themselves and there was even a threat put on Sinn Feinn in the north by the exact shit they were on the side of, where its guys in tricolor balaclavas infront of a camera with guns making threats.>when we put you in power we didnt mean brits out browns in when we said Ireland for the IrishFucking lol
>>728891987Does Todd even show up to work 2 days per week on average? Does he play games?

>>728891987If I can't dynamically talk ChatGPT-powered NPCs into zero-summing, I will be sorely disappointed.
>>728899363Just imagine all the A/F basediality that goes on in Elsweyr.
>>728891987They could literally just scale it up and make Elsweyr have more trees than any other province.
>>728894630TES6 is Hammerfell + High Rock
>>728891987Skyrim should have had far more trees than it did.A section of the map is mountains in the centre with nothing. One section is the Reach with only a handful of trees.Another section is the Whiterun plains with barely any trees.Morthal swamps has no trees. There's a huge snowed over/glacier area going from north of Morthal, past Dawnstar, past Winterhold and then down to Windhelm and there's no trees.Only Falkreath, Riften and the lowlands around Snow Throat/Riverwood are heavily treed. There's barely any fucking trees in Skyrim, it was so weird playing it the first time looking for them.
>>728904247Gaelic not even once
>>728908541>Another section is the Whiterun plains with barely any trees.im going to have an autism fitwhiterun is smack dab in the middle of a tundra it is a biome specifically noted for lack of trees i see so many mods that put a bunch of fucking trees in whiterunstop putting trees in whiterun
>>728908997You are having an autism fit and you are wrong to do so. You believe something I didn't say. You've assumed I'm stupid for implying there should be trees in a tundra, when in fact you're stupid for not being able to parse English and not being able to recognise if your conclusion was true I'd also be claiming there should be trees on a glacier. My implied point was that conveniently biome after biome in Skyrim is one that doesn't have trees. And then you get to Falkreath where there's supposed to be trees and it's just all saplings with an open sky. There was an opportunity for really cool realistic environments with dense spooky tree cover, but also the chance for more fantastical forests that have a larger-than-life viking fantasy feel and instead the majority of the map is grey gravel and grey rock and 3 pine trees nearby.
Skyrim has plenty of mountains, two tundras and an ice cap, it's not particularly covered in forests.Hammerfell has mountains and a big desert but it also probably has much denser forests, iirc daggerfall had a jungle biome in hammerfell
>>728895109Kek
>>728910263>You've assumed I'm stupid for implying there should be trees in a tundrathis was not said by the other post>when in fact you're stupid for not being able to parse Englishhmmm
>>728897143real life accurate, very cold, high altitude places cant grow vegetation
>>728910460Hammerfell should have at least two different types of forest zones. Possibly three if you can't the southern peninsula.
The next Elder Scrolls will be Skyrim for mobile.TES6 is many years away.
>>728895759maybe if those drug-addicted fucks would go and build a home then they wouldn't be homeless
>>728891987it's the perfect nothingburger news if you really think about it>environments could be more detailed, so "most definitely" there's more trees>world could be bigger, so "most definitely" there's more trees>setting could be more forested, so "most definitely" there's more trees
>>728906941Wonder if he actually does that, maybe he starts them and clicks a little in the menus just so he can say he plays them
