I like motorcycles more than cars irl but cars are an infinitely better vehicle for video games. There's a heaviness you can't get with motorcycles. That's why Gran Turismo succeeded and Tourist Trophy failed. Ironically, the best and most successful bike game ever made is Mario Kart Wii.Same with extreme sports games and the skateboard/snowboard. These vehicles are highly versatile and fit the gaming medium far better than other extreme sports. Roller blades have limited tricks, BMX has limited movement (landing backwards fucks you up), surfing has limited level design. So Tony Hawk and SSX succeed, the others fail.
