modern controls are a lame bandaid solution that make the game worse for both control types
if they wanted to actually make the game easier they could have done so by adjusting link timing, commands, etc. instead they just said fuck it just have it do auto combo and also we have no room for this extra button so that just wont exist for one control type. people using modern are less likely to learn and the people playing against modern will get owned by new players on modern in addition to sweats
