The problem is that AoE2 enjoyers are not gonna jump/promote/play 4 unless money is involved. So, AoE4 only has new players ready to swallow propaganda or middle tier AoE2 players who can play and dominate 4 and pretend they are the best (after being cucked in 2 regularly).
